One of Rebekah's newfound joys is 'waking up' Annie on those days Annie doesn't need any waking because she is already up, and smiling, and searching, from just above the bumper, for her Mommy. These pictures are about those days.

So, today it happened. Annie's food repertoire grew by one: beets. Hilarity ensued. Beks says to say Annie loved them. (For reals.) I say it looks like she just ate a cat with her bare hands.

Quick shout-out to my father-in-law, who gave me this wrench/knife/screw-driver/flashlight a while back. It single-handedly uninstalled/reinstalled the car radio, replaced my front headlight, and secured the weed-eater shield -- all in the past two-and-half-weeks! Rebekah and I can't wait to see what it makes for dinner tonight. Thanks, Mark!
